It is very easy to install. The strap ring is just under 7/8" (inside) across the top, so It would work well with either 1" or 3/4" straps or bag handles.
Each Strap Connector comes with 2 screws and one washer. First, you need to stabilize the insertion area on your handbag so that they are nice and secure. Next Using the washer as a template to mark screw holes position, and then poke holes in fabric for screws and pins. It would be better to make 3 holes to go over the pins and screws. The holes should be overlapping. Last, it is necessary to add some glue around the pins for security.
